I’m installing the full version of magento ver 1.2.1 onto a vista platform running :
wamp 2.0
php 5.2.6
MySQL Ver 5.0.51b and
apache ver 2.2.8
I’ve done everything in the installation for windows post.
I’m now in the install wizard and I can get to the configuration stage. I leave everything as default (as I’m installing locally) and all the options are exactly what I need.
However when I click continue, it doesn’t. It just brings me back to the configuration page without any warnings.

I tried to upgrade my site using SimpleScripts from Hostmonster. Well it seems like I’m getting all kinds of error messages. I contacted support and they weren’t able to use the back up I had. Not sure what’s going on but they referred me to Magento. They said there was a conflict with the database. Can someone help me please? I’m not a database person, but a web designer.
Here are the error messages:
Error in file: “/home/mySite/public_html/mySite/store/app/code/core/Mage/Downloadable/sql/downloadable_setup/mysql4-upgrade-0.1.0-0.1.1.php” – SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table ‘barkands_mag01.catalog_product’ doesn’t exist
