Is this normal not to show a price?
I have a Grouped Product, but when you view it on the front end, it doesnt show any price. I noticed on the demo site with the Furniture Set, it shows ‘As Low As’ on the front end. Can anyone help me out. As Low As is fine but it would be really nice to show the grand total sale price since the customer is purchasing “the entire set”. But again, anything would be nice. Is this normal not to show any prices?

I am having a problem logging in to Magento after creating another user account.
I created a new user and assigned a role with a few restrictions on it. Once created, I logged out of the admin account and tried to login using the restricted user account.
Unfortunately, I got an error message saying ‘Access Denied’
‘Ahh pants’, I said to myself, ‘I’ll just login again using my admin account and double check the settings’. When I tried to login using the admin account details, I found that I still was unable to login. This time however, I did not get an error message, I was just redirected back to the login form…????
I tried this a few times, then cleared my cash, tried a few different browsers, then rebooted my machine, requested another password and even tried to login from another computer. But still I am getting the same problem (ARRRGGG)!!
Has anyone had a similar problem or can anyone help me resolve this.
I think I have inadvertently found a bit of a bug!!

I am getting this error on my initial installation.
To get to this point I have downloaded the full version 1.1.3. I have unzipped the package and uploaded via ftp. I have set the permissions as instructed on the app/etc, media, var folders as instructed. When I navigate to the magento install wizard, everything loads up fine. I get through the local settings fine. When I finish imputting the configuration data I get the following error when I continue with the installation.

So I’ve been working on trying to test Magento’s Multistore (Multi-store) functionality so that I could make sure it is what I am looking for before I start migrating my ZenCart shop over to Magento, but so far I have not been able to get MultiStore working with another domain on the same server as mine.
I have copied over the index.php and htaccess file, and have edited the index.php file with the proper information, but I get the following error:
“myservertreestructure/app/Mage.php was not found”
I have tried swapping around permissions on the Mage.php file but it still doesn’t seem to work.
Is there anyone out there who has been able to get a magento installation running on site1.com to work on site2.com? If so, can you post your index.php file so that I can learn from you?

I recently upgraded to version 1.1.2.
When generating an invoice I get the following errors:
o Can not save invoice
o Can not do invoice for order
The order is invoiced but the customer does not get the email. I’ve dug through the code and found that the first error is generated when an exception is thrown in saveAction (in InvoiceController.php). It appears that $transactionSave->save()is the culprit, although I cannot tell from the sql logs where it’s going wrong.
Has anyone seen anything similar? Any ideas how to to troubleshoot further?

I added a new poll and deleted the original one. The poll works fine, gives the statistics but when I refresh the page the entire poll disappears from the page.
I tried this in both IE and Firefox.

I’m working on integration of Oracle’s Universal Content Management system with Magento, using ajax to populate blocks from the store into pages served up by the UCM.
So far so good, it seems like it’s going to work out well, but I’d like to get someone to sanity check some things for me.
I currently have a php script in the magento directory that is acting as a dispatch for the ajax calls. One thing I need to be able to do is log a user into the store. Can someone let me know if this is the right way to do it?
I guess I don’t need the customer object at all in the sync_cart function, but what about the rest? It seems to work okay, but is there anything I might be missing?
